How can I donate?
Join our team by donating to help Freedom’s Wings Canada fund its flying operations.
Your donations help Freedom’s Wings to pay for the tows we need to launch our flights, our insurance costs and to purchase additional aircraft so we can spread our program to other parts of Canada. All of the members of Freedom’s Wings Canada are volunteers so you know every dollar that you donate goes to help people with disabilities and youth fly.
Donation Suggestions
$65 Buys an Inspiration Flight for a person with a disability in one of our dedicated two-seat gliders. The flight will last up to 30 minutes with an approved rear seat pilot and the passenger will be given the opportunity to fly the glider.
$500 Covers the costs for a day visit for a group of 6 persons with disabilities. Some of the past groups who have joined us include Camp Quality, Bloorview Kids Rehab, Community Living Mississauga, Canadian Paraplegic Association of Ontario, KW Access-Ability, and Spinners Wheelchair Activity Days.
$2500 Trains a person with a disability to glider licence standard.As a division of a registered Canadian charity, Freedoms Wings Canada can issue tax receipts for donations over $25.

YouthFlightCanada is a registered Canadian charity. We issue official receipts for Canadian Income Tax purposes for all donations. For gift-in-kind donations, including aircraft, we issue receipts for fair market value. Our charitable registration number is 89585 1053 RR0001.
How Can I Volunteer
Freedom’s Wings Canada has expanded its operations in Arthur and Gatineau, which support the Toronto and Ottawa areas. Our newest chapters also include Vernon in the Okanagan and Hope just outside of Vancouver British Columbia. Contact your local chapter to assist as an instructor, inspirational pilot, or ground crew.
